Terms of Use

1. The Platform

World Kids Talent operates an international online talent competition for children aged 0–14. Participation in World Kids Talent is 100% free from registration through to the competition. Free voting is available. Paid voting packages are optional and are not required to participate in the competition. Purchasing votes does not guarantee qualification, placement, prizes, or any other outcome.

2. Accounts, Parents & Eligibility

Only a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over may create and manage an account. By registering, you confirm you hold the legal authority to consent on the child's behalf and to submit their information and media. Children may not create, operate, or purchase through an account.

3. Content, Consent & Moderation

By uploading a photo, video, or other content, you confirm you hold the rights to it and are authorised to submit it. All public content is moderated and may be rejected or removed if it is inappropriate, unsafe, misleading, infringes third-party rights, or does not comply with these terms. A contestant's public profile displays only the child's first name, age, and country; the child's surname is never displayed publicly.

4. Competition Structure & Voting

Contestants progress through three stages — National, International, and the Final — within their age division. Voting begins at the National Stage, where contestants have 7 days to reach 50 valid votes and qualify for the International Stage. On the International Stage, contestants have 7 days to compete for a place in the Top 10, and only the Top 10 contestants advance to the Final. Finalists have 14 days to compete for the title in their age division, with placement determined by total valid votes. Invalid, fraudulent, automated, or manipulated votes may be removed. Purchasing votes does not guarantee qualification, placement, or prizes.

Prize eligibility, delivery, substitutions, and other conditions will be published ahead of each Final. If we are unable to contact a winner using the details provided, or a parent has supplied incorrect information, a prize may be forfeited. Winners are responsible for any taxes or customs duties applicable to prizes received.

5. Participant Photo Rule

Once a contestant's competition photo has been submitted and approved, it is locked to their profile for the remainder of that season and cannot be changed or replaced — the same approved photo remains in place throughout the National, International, and Final stages. A parent wishing to use a different photo may do so only by registering their child for a future season.

6. Vote Purchases, Payments & Refunds

Vote packages are optional digital purchases applied to a contestant during an active voting stage. Votes are applied immediately once payment is confirmed. All completed purchases are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

7. Fraud, Chargebacks & Vote Removal

We may review voting activity where fraud, automation, or manipulation is suspected, and remove invalid votes. A refund, reversal, or chargeback on a vote purchase may result in the corresponding votes being removed, which may affect ranking or qualification. Chargeback abuse or fraud may result in account restriction or disqualification.

8. Withdrawal & Profile Removal

A parent or guardian may request that their child's profile be withdrawn and removed at any time. Withdrawing a profile does not entitle you to a refund for votes already purchased. Some records may be retained where required for accounting, fraud prevention, or other legal obligations — see our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Parental Consent

Only a parent or legal guardian can provide consent for the use and publication of a child's photos, videos or information. We do not accept this consent from anyone else on a child's behalf.

10. Hall of Fame

After the competition ends, participants' profiles are archived: they are no longer shown publicly on the website but are kept in our records. Parents and legal guardians may request the deletion of an archived profile at any time. With the consent of their parent or legal guardian, the winners' photos and limited profile information will remain publicly on the website in the Hall of Fame.

11. Digital Magazine

At the end of the competition, a digital magazine will be created featuring the three category winners together on the cover. Winners will only be included with the consent of their parent or legal guardian. Once the magazine has been published and distributed, complete removal cannot be guaranteed.

12. Social Media

Photos or videos uploaded to the website will not automatically be shared on social media. Publication on World Kids Talent's social media channels requires separate consent, or content provided for that purpose, from the parent or legal guardian.

13. Content Removal

Parents and legal guardians may request the removal of content from social media channels controlled by World Kids Talent. However, removal cannot be guaranteed for content that has already been downloaded, shared, reposted or distributed by third parties.

14. Intellectual Property

The World Kids Talent name, logo, and platform design are our property. Parents retain ownership of the photos and videos they upload, and grant us a licence to display them on the platform as part of the competition.

15. Liability

The platform is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts you have paid us in the preceding 12 months.
